By shifting focus from coding to composing, Phlow democratizes backend creation and shortens the path from idea to production.

3. High-Performance Runtime​

Principle: Performance is not an optimization — it’s the foundation.

Engineered in Rust, Phlow guarantees memory safety, minimal resource footprint, and extreme execution speed. It is designed to run seamlessly across environments: from developer laptops to edge devices, from private clouds to massive distributed systems. With Phlow, low latency and horizontal scalability are not features — they are defaults.

4. Automatic Module Installation​

Principle: User experience must be frictionless.

Phlow eliminates setup complexity. When a flow requires a module, Phlow automatically fetches it from the official package repository and installs it locally under ./phlow-packages. No manual downloads. No dependency hell. Just instant readiness — letting you focus purely on building.

5. Observability by Design​

Principle: You can’t optimize what you can’t measure.

Phlow embeds full observability from the ground up. Every flow and module is instrumented with OpenTelemetry, generating logs, metrics, and distributed traces out of the box. With native integrations to Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, and more, Phlow gives you real-time, actionable visibility — so you can understand, debug, and optimize with precision.
